Bibles for children are an amazing asset for parents and children. A Bible is a simple tool adults can use to teach valuable lessons and to discover the treasures of the Word of God with their kids! Most are affordable and all are beneficial. You can purchase a children’s bible or a Bible storybook. You know your child and what they like so I will present a variety of each type of Bible/Storybook for children along with some study helps for older kids and some things for Tweens and Teens. Bibles for children are a special gift because what they learn lasts for a lifetime.
“Start children off on the right path. And even when they are old, they will not turn away from it.” Proverbs 22:6 NIRV
What Is The Best Children’s Bible?
The answer to that depends upon your child, your beliefs, and your goals for them. If you’re purchasing a Bible, not a storybook, you’ll want to consider the translation you believe is best. For Bibles or storybooks, you’ll want to consider what’s being taught. For instance, some may focus more on stories about individuals while others focus on lessons about love and other characteristics.
You can research the various children’s bibles by going to the sites that publish them or to the seller’s sites. For instance, you can go to Amazon, search for children’s bibles, and read the information provided and read the reviews on the product. You can do the same at ChristianBook.com. Where I live, we don’t have a Christian Book Story so I have to rely on friend’s recommendations and what I find online when I’m purchasing a book. Another great source is a Sunday School teacher or the Children’s Ministry leader and other families at your church who have kids the same age as yours. The twelve Bibles/Storybooks and study guides presented here are some of the best.
Why Should You Purchase A Children’s BIble?
As you already know, kids are like sponges. They learn things from you and the people around them that you didn’t even realize they noticed. They’re also full of questions. Having their own Bible is a wonderful way for them to learn and discover answers for themselves. When they see you reading your Bible, they’ll be inspired to read or look at their own Bible. And, of course, you can start very early reading the stories of the Bible out loud to them.
Bibles for children are usually filled with pictures or illustrations to help children visualize what they’re hearing. When they read or hear about the parting of the Red Sea, a picture helps them understand what that means and comprehend the idea of God performing a miracle. And, pictures just make it more fun for you and your children since all of us learn and remember that way.
The Word of God contained in these bibles for children will serve as a guide and place of hope for the rest of their lives. The stories and characters will come back to bring them strength. They are never too young to learn about the love of God and Jesus.
